PLEASE READ:
I would like to add something special to this page. Our son Joshua is going to be having major foot surgery
this coming October 4th, 2004 at Texas Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas, Texas. Joshua was born with the birth defect
"clubfeet". When Joshua was born he wore full leg casts from 21 hours old until his 1st surgery at 8 months old. Joshua learned
to walk at 16 months old. Joshua is now 8. After Joshuas surgery he will be in a wheelchair for 8 weeks
and then in walking casts for another 4 weeks. This surgery will keep Joshua from many normal
child activities such as running and playing, swimming, sports, etc. for several months and we will have to come
up with activities to help keep him entertained. This will be a rough time for us but we will be ok with God watching
over us. Thank you to all who have offered such kind words of comfort and prayers.
UPDATE: 01/10/05
Joshuas surgery went well and he is back to walking again. He is currently wearing braces until
the end of January.
